How can I create an account?

To create an account you need to register as either a Dealer or a Private Seller. You’ll also need an active email account.

To register, click on the Sell tab in the main menu and follow the simple step-by-step instructions.

Once you’ve completed this process, you’ll receive a registration email to activate your account.

How can I create an Ad?

To create an ad for your equipment, please login to your account.

From here, you can click on the 'Add New Listings' button, highlighted in green on the right hand side of the Listings table.

Follow the step-by-step instructions and enter in the full details of your listing.

You will also be able to upload images for your ad.

How can I bid in the Auctions?

To register to bid for auction, please log in into your Truck Dealers Australia.account.

From here, you can click on the 'Auction' button, located under the menu bar on the left hand side.

Auction Participation requires creating an account and agreeing to the terms and conditions.

A: Can I inspect the Lots?

A: Of course! We encourage you to do your homework before bidding Contact TDA

Q: Are there hidden reserves?

A: Reserves are set by the individual Dealers and are not visible to bidders

Q: Is there a Buyer’s Premium?

A: Yes, there is a 7.5% Buyer's Premium & GST (10%) is applicable to all lots.

Q: Is the auction GST Inclusive or Exclusive?

A: Exclusive.

Q: Who sets the Start Prices? How are they calculated?

A: Dealers Australia set the start prices, they are calculated in relation to the asset type and reserve price.

Q: How do I know when the reserve has been reached?

A: We tell you and it is visible on each asset we auction. You will also be notified once you have placed a bid.

Q: What happens if I’m the highest bidder but my bid doesn’t make reserve?

A: The lot is technically passed into you as highest bidder, we will contact you to discuss

How can I contact a Dealer?

Dealer contact information can be found on the top right of an individual listings page.

To find a local Dealer, please click on the Find a Dealer tab in the main menu and select the State the Dealer is located in.

How do I tell when a listing is added, removed, updated or the price changes?

To receive notifications, you need an account. If you don’t have one, you’ll be prompted to sign in when you click the green star. Alternatively, go to “Register/Login” at the top right of the page, and you can sign up there.

Once in your "My Account" page, go to "Settings" and head to "Notification Settings" and tick the boxes to receive notifications on both your favourite listings and saved searches. It’s that easy.

 

How can I contact Dealers Australia?

How can I change / retrieve my account password?

If you’ve forgotten your password, please go to the Register/ Login page and select 'Forgot Password'.

You’ll be asked to enter the email address your account is registered under, and an email containing a link allowing you to reset your password will be sent to that address.

Simply click on the link and you’ll be taken to a page where you can update the password.

I am having difficulty creating an account or retrieving my password.
